Jessica Grabell
FOUNDER
Co-Founder, MemoraCare Technologies Inc. | Creator of Remember MEdia
Jessica Grabell is the original concept proprietor of Remember MEdia and Co-Founder of MemoraCare Technologies Inc., a health-tech company focused on developing meaningful, intuitive tools to enhance the lives of older adults and individuals living with dementia. Remember MEdia—a photo/video sharing and virtual calling platform—was the first product developed under this vision and ultimately led to the incorporation of MemoraCare Technologies Inc., which aims to bring future-forward solutions to the aging care sector.
Jessica brings over two decades of experience as a Recreation Therapist, working directly with older adults and those living with dementia. Through her years in the field, she witnessed both the transformative power of reminiscence therapy and the barriers families and caregivers face in staying connected. She observed how time constraints, lack of resources, and disjointed systems often prevent meaningful media—photos, videos, and personalized music—from being available when they’re needed most. She is also active in her 104 year old great-grandmothers care who lives geographically far apart from many grandchildren that she keeps connected virtually whenever possible. These challenges inspired Jessica to create a streamlined, accessible solution: Remember MEdia.
Jessica is an alumna of Niagara College’s Recreation Therapy Program, a graduate of The Navigate Program through the Goodman School of Business at Brock University, and in the next cohort of the Lincubator Program. She remains a lifelong learner at Brock University with a growing interest in Business Economics as it relates to healthcare innovation. She has fulfilled several Brock credits over the years in Social Studies, and Economics related to the Aging Population in Canada.
Jessica also brings years of non-profit and volunteer management experience, including her time as Program Manager for Meals on Wheels. She was also the previous owner of her first start-up, an online women’s boutique where she sold a variety of products both locally and globally but quickly lost interest and soon returned to her calling in healthcare.
In her current role, Jessica continues to work as a Programs and Community Engagement Coordinator on a seniors' living campus with a progressive approach to aging care. As a member of the non-profit’s senior management team, she leads with both heart and strategy—facilitating recreation programming for supportive housing, driving engagement initiatives for independent living, securing funding and partnerships, and overseeing donor relations and marketing strategies. Her natural "Advocate" personality type complements her dual passion for social good and entrepreneurial impact.
Jessica’s ability to connect her authentic care for people with strong business acumen and project management skills allows her to drive meaningful change in the health-tech sector. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, innovation, and a deep commitment to improving quality of life through connection.
Outside of work, Jessica is a proud Mom to two school-agers, an advocate for girls in sport, proudly serving on the executive committee of her local girls’ hockey association whom her daughter plays for, and is the Community Engagement Coordinator for the local Junior B Hockey Club that immerses her children, their friends and the general community into games as special guests in a v
